Touched by an ever-increasing poverty gap in Siaya county, (Western part of Kenya), having conducted a need assessment and with a vision towards sustainability.
The poverty gap in Siaya is caused by an increased number of illiterates because, due to low income, many families lack enough funds to take their children to school to unlock various opportunities.
Poor sanitation, depression, unemployment, poor access to basic services, such as electricity, good health facilities,
gender-based violence and many other factors that lead to poverty in rural settlements are some of the realities that gave birth to Compassionate community Network:
